Guest Speaker ~ CRAIG CHILDS

Craig Childs has been called a born storyteller by the New York Sun. His writing focuses on archaeology, natural sciences and mind-blowing journeys into the wilderness and he has published more than a dozen critically acclaimed books on subjects ranging from pre-Columbian archaeology to The Secret Knowledge of Water. Childs is a commentator for National Public Radio's Morning Edition, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Outside and Orion. He has won several awards including the Galen Rowell Art of Adventure Award, the Sigurd Olson Nature Writing Award and the Spirit of the West Award for his body of work.
