Kyle joined Washington Water Trust as a Project Associate in the summer of 2024. He is completing, in Fall 2024, a Master of Cultural and Environmental Resource Management degree at Central Washington University, along with a GIS certificate. His thesis project analyzes stream restoration responses to large woody debris projects in upper Yakima Basin Tributaries. He also has a BS in Environmental Science from University of Portland, which included work on a salmon resting habitat plan in the Willamette River. He previously worked for the WA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife implementing noxious weed programs at wildlife areas in Kittitas County and for the King County Dept. of Natural Resources and Parks as part of the Washington Conservation Corps. Kyle’s work is primarily in the Yakima and Klickitat project areas. He currently lives in Ellensburg, where he has resided for over 10 years, with his spouse and 2 young children. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys hiking, spending time with his family, and all things Seattle sports.
